These camps have openings: Bear Cub, Session 9, and Log Cabin Sessions 6 and 9.

Session Dates and Themes:

  • Session 1: May 30-June 2 (camp closed Monday, May 29). Beach Week. See session details.
  • Session 2: June 5-9. Hero Week.
  • Session 3: June 12-16. Spirit Week (ties into bus spirit week, but think homecoming type spirit).
  • Session 4: June 19-23. Decades Week (each day will be a different decade).
  • Session 5: June 26-30. American Pride Week (we will have a 4th of July parade on Friday).
  • Camp is closed July 3-7.
  • Session 6: July 10-14. Animal Week.
  • Session 7: July 17-21. Galaxy Week.
  • Session 8: July 24-28. Holiday Week (each day is a holiday and we will celebrate Whippoorwill’s 45th birthday this week).
  • Session 9: July 31-Aug. 4. International Week.

Waitlist Policy

The waitlist opened on Feb. 13. We only accept waitlist submissions by email. To add your camper to the waitlist, email camp@whippoorwill.com. Include this information in your email:

  • Your camper’s name and grade in fall of 2017
  • Parent name and phone number
  • Session(s) you desire

We will add your camper(s) to the waitlist based on the date and time we receive your email. Should a spot become available, Whippoorwill will contact you by email or phone.

Costs

  • One-week session: $350 per week. $110 deposit required per session at time of registration; deposit is applied against session fee.
  • Leadership Challenge (two-week session): $700 for the two-week program. $110 deposit required; deposit is applied against session fee.
  • EarlyBird (EB) Discount: Save $10 per camper, per session, if registration is complete and paid in full by March 6, 2017.*
  • Sibling Discount: Save $10 per additional sibling, per session. Siblings must be enrolled in the same session. When you register online, enter the code CAMPSIB to receive the $10 discount.
  • Session 1: $275 for 4-day week.

*EB Discount does not apply to Session 1 or Leadership Challenge.

Session Fee Details

  • This year we are only accepting Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment during registration.
  • There is a nonrefundable $55 fee if you need to cancel your camper’s session. The entire camp fee is lost for cancellations less than two weeks prior to your camper’s session.
  • There is no fee for changing sessions, but it is based on availability.
  • All payments are due one month prior to the start of your camper’s session. If money has not been collected within two weeks of your child’s session, the camp office has the right to cancel your session.
  • Registration cannot be transferred to another camper. The camp office will handle filling any spots that become available.
