Camp Parents,
As we continue forward with camp during this crazy time, we want to update you on a few things. We cannot guarantee COVID is not among us. This is a virus we are all living with and as summer continues, we want to do everything we can to keep things as safe as possible and mitigate the exposure. We are looking forward to July and implementing these updated policies.

Attached you will find our updated parent handbook detailing how camp is running this year. There are a few new additions that we would like to highlight:

Travel Policy
After thorough discussion with our camp nurses and doctor, we made the decision to enforce the following:

  1. If your camper has flown on a plane within two weeks of their registered camp session, your camper is not permitted to attend this summer.
  2. If your camper resides outside of TN and is traveling into town to attend camp, your camper is not permitted to attend this summer.

This decision was made using the CDC and American Camp Association’s Best Practicing Guidelines as reference. If this applies to you, please email or call to reschedule or receive a refund.

Buses
Nashville has moved into Phase 3, but as a camp we will remain in Phase 2 for the duration of the summer. We will continue to remain in groups of ten or less for the week and we will continue running buses at half capacity.

Our buses have a capacity of 78 and we will run them at half capacity with no more than two campers to a seat. All campers and staff members will continue to be screened before loading the buses in the mornings and afternoon. All campers and staff members will continue to wear masks while on the bus.

We are halfway through our second week and have had a wonderful time! The sound of children playing safely outdoors again has made each long day worth it. We thank you for your continued support and trust. It means more this year than ever!
