4 Corners. This is a fun game the whole family can play! Pick a room or space (outdoors can work too) where you have 4 designated corners or areas. Assign those spaces a number, 1-4. Choose one person to start by going in the middle. They close their eyes and count to 5 (slowly). While they are counting, the other players are running around to the different corners. Once the player in the middle reaches 5, the other players must be in a designated corner quietly. The player in the middle then calls out one of the corners by number (“I pick 3″). If anyone is in corner 3, they are out, and the next round begins. If no one is in corner 3, the middle person closes their eyes and plays again. The goal is for the middle person to get everyone out! Another version is to keep score. The middle person guesses a corner and if there are two people in that corner, the middle person gets a score of 2. Their turn in the middle is over and another player takes the middle position and plays the same way. Each player takes a turn and you play until the first person gets 10 points.

Fortune Tellers. A great paper activity that will keep kids busy as they make their own and also keep them busy as they ask family members to read their fortunes.

Spaghetti Tower Challenge. This is a fun STEM activity. Grab all the extra pasta you stocked up on, some marshmallows and some masking tape and see how high you can build a tower!

Steal the Fire. Build a pretend fire with sticks or kitchen utensils or even a pillow. Put the fire inside a target such as a hula-hoop or bucket. Then one person is designated as the fire guard and is blindfolded. This person stands in front of the fire and tries to protect it. They are allowed to move all around the fire, but cannot touch it. Then a second person has the goal to steal the “fire” without getting tagged by the guard. This person is trying to be quiet and sneaky.
