Information for New Parents
Thank you for your interest in Whippoorwill Farm Day Camp for your child’s summer. We are very proud of the program we have developed and maintained over the past 47 years. From the very beginning, the philosophy of our camp was simple: Get kids outside and let them make their own choices! Start exploring our site and all we offer by selecting the grade your child will be in Fall 2021.
- Bear Cub Camp – for campers entering first grade
- Log Cabin Camp – for campers entering 2nd-3rd grade
- Teepee Camp – for campers entering 4th-6th grade
- Teepee Elders Camp – for campers entering 7th-8th grade
- Trailblazers Camp – for campers entering 9th grade
- Leadership Challenge – for campers entering 10th-11th grade
What makes Whippoorwill unique is that campers spend their days “signing up” for activities and choosing how they spend their day. There are 5 chances each day to choose their favorite activities. Each age group has a variety of activities. Some activities are designed to be special for the older campers and something you must “wait” to participate in when you’re older.
